Our second day of pub crawling was a little less dramatic, but we still knocked down four new bars. We were treated to a Korean metal cover band at Scandal. Their guitar player could shred, but their singer struggled with the lyrics. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt though, since English is probably not his first language. The bartender seemed to like it though (see picture above). Once they finished their set, with the crowd chanting for more, it was apparent that they didn't have any songs left to play. What came next was like watching a band practice, as they commenced butchering many classic metal songs. That's when we took off, and later ended up at Wes's Place, Korea's finest country bar. I thought I was back in Montana. Not only because of the country music and line dancing, but because of the preponderance of fat chicks on the dance floor. Elliot and I finished up a successful weekend with some darts at the empty USA Club, with a nice second floor view of the street.
so there I was...at this Bar...you know it has to be good now. The metal show was good when homeboy was singing Pantera or Sepultura. But when he tried to finesse some Ozzy or Metallica it was pretty sad. I have to say that "The Station" had a pretty hot Bartender who appeared to be Korean/??? mixed. The crowd was pretty weak. come on CE...really? Biker Vests? makes me laugh a bit. Wes's was...well...a bunch of people line dancing. Not my bag, but the Teddy Bear seemed to enjoy the fact that the ratio was not 10/1. We'll have to convince him that Songtan is not the Avenue to pursue a meaningful 1 night stand. The USA Club was ok, if you like to be the only 2 people in the bar. even the troll bartenders looked like they were ready to find someplace else to hang out.
